About RSS

The RSS format can syndicate news and content from news-like sites. In fact, pretty much any content that can be broken down into discrete items can be syndicated via RSS.

Once information about an item is in RSS format, an RSS-aware program can check the feed for changes and react to them in an appropriate way.

RSS-aware programs are known as news aggregators, and are very popular with the weblogging community. A news aggregator can help you keep up with all your headlines from businessgreen.com by checking the relevant RSS feeds and displaying new items from each of them.

By creating the RSS files on Incisive Media's web server your aggregators will be able to read the RSS files and to collect data about Incisive Media's content. These aggregators place the site information into a larger database and use it to allow for structured searches of a large number of content providers.

If you are interested in receiving Incisive Media's content in this way please select one of the following shareware aggregators to enable you to create your own news content feeds:

Guidelines for using Incisive Media RSS feeds on your own website
